Navigation guides you toward one destination. It draws a straight line from your current or starting position to the destination and updates the remaining straight-line distance as your location changes.

It is not turn-by-turn navigation and it does not follow a road, trail, planned route, or saved route.

Use the navigation displayUse the navigation display

  1. Follow the destination flag and the straight line on the map.
  2. Read Distance to destination in the navigation widget.
  3. Tap the widget to fit the current navigation line and destination on screen.
  4. Use Close in the widget to stop Navigation, then confirm Stop.

Location access must be enabled for the distance to update from your current position.

An active navigation line is restored after Lokimaps is reopened and remains active until you stop it or choose another destination. You can also set your current position as a persistent base camp and later navigate back to it.

To create a multi-point line or calculate a route along supported trails and roads, use Route Planner instead.
